Shipping & Returns
All US orders ship for free. Orders weighing 13 oz or more ship via USPS Priority Mail. Orders weighing less than 13 oz ship via USPS First Class Parcel. These orders can be upgraded to Priority Mail for $3 on the PayPal or Google Wallet shipping options. Please note that if your order does not contain any yarn, your package will not receive a tracking number.
All orders addressed to Canada ship via USPS First Class Mail International at a rate of $5 per 4 lbs (64 oz). You can see the estimated shipping weight below the items on the cart page. Due to weight restrictions on international packages, we have to limit each package shipped to Canada to 4 lbs or less. If your order exceeds the 4 lbs limit, we will divide the order into multiple packages. There is no tracking for Canadian shipments.
You will be responsible for paying any brokerage fees, duties, and taxes upon delivery. The declared value of your package will be the subtotal (before shipping price is added).
Packaging and Delivery Time:
Once you place your order, your yarn will be packaged in a sealed plastic bag to protect it from the elements, carefully boxed, then shipped within 1 business day unless we have problems charging your credit card, dye lot mismatches, and other issues. Your credit card will only be charged once your order is ready to ship.

Undeliverable or Incorrect Addresses:
Mr. Yarn is not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to an undeliverable or incorrect mailing address. If the package is returned to us, we can issue you a credit or refund of the purchase total minus the cost of shipping.
We currently only ship to US and Canada. If you submit an order and the shipping address is not in the US or Canada, your order will be voided without notice.
There will be no returns or exchanges on closeout yarns.
If you are a US customer, you may return yarn for store credit by contacting us within 7 calendar days of delivery (as noted on USPS tracking). Sorry, we cannot accept returns from Canadian customers. Please include the following information in your message:
You must contact us before sending yarn back. We will not provide credit for yarn that has been sent to us without prior approval. Once we have received all the information regarding your return, we will reply with the total amount of the credit you are eligible to receive and the address to ship the return. We will make every effort to respond to all return requests within one business day.
We will only accept returns on yarn in new, resalable condition. No wound, caked, or balled yarn will be accepted. Tags/labels must be intact and still attached to the skein as they were originally. Yarn must come from non-smoking households. If you send back yarn that is ineligible for return, or is in unacceptable condition, we will not credit you for those items. We reserve the right to make a final determination on what is considered acceptable.
Packages must arrive to us within 15 calendar days of return approval. You will be responsible for all shipping costs. We will not be responsible for yarn that is lost or damaged in transit.
Once the package arrives to us and we deem the yarn to be in acceptable condition, we will credit you via a non-transferable Mr. Yarn gift card. The credit will be equal to the purchase total of the items you are returning, less the proportion of the actual shipping cost for those items. The proportion is the ratio of the estimated weight of the skeins being returned to the total weight of all skeins in the original order. Weights are estimated by a prior random sampling of yarn in our inventory. If you did not qualify for free shipping on the original order, any shipping fees you paid will be added to your credit.
If you would like to make an exchange, follow the return instructions above being sure to include any yarn you would like to reserve when you contact us. Once your returned yarn has arrived, we will send you a link to a special cart containing the reserved yarn. You may use your credited Mr. Yarn gift card during check out.
If we have incorrectly filled your order, we will take all the steps necessary to get the yarn you ordered to you. Please use the Contact Us form to let us know of a problem with your order and we will send you a prepaid shipping label to make your return/exchange.
